Originally from Linton, IN, I am a senior at Ball State working to earn a B.S. in Computer Science.

Currently I am working for eTapestry as an eCommerce Programmer and for Ball State Office of Admissions as a Tour Guide. Along with those positions I am currently the Secretary of Technology for Ball State Student Government Association, Publications Chair for the Ball State Tour Guides organization, and a Web Developer Cardinal Communications where I develop and maintain websites.

In the Office of Admissions as a Campus Tour Guide at Ball State University, I give tours to students who are interested in more information about the university. These students are usually in high school or are transferring from another college or university.

Data Services Programmer May 2010 - May 2011
For eTapestry I worked as a programmer using Java along with Microsoft Access to perform mass custom updates to the eTapestry database system. I was also responsible for creating email templates for customers using both the eTapestry correspondence tools and HTML. During the Fall and Spring semester of this past year, I was able to do some work for eTapestry remotely

Publications Chair January 2011 - Present
I currently hold the position of Publications Chair on the executive board of the newly created Ball State Tour Guides organization. This student organization was founded by myself and the rest of the executive board along with an Office of Admissions staff member. My position is responsible for communicating to the tour guides as a whole, informing them with updates to campus policies and facilities.

With this project, I was given the design by one of the other members on my team in Cardinal Communications. Using Dreamweaver with some help from Fireworks, The site was coded to request.

I was given the task of taking the new design and turning it into an actual website. Using JQuery, Javascript, HTML and CSS, I created this site with the intent of making it interactive for the user. This was my first site developed using JQuery. The entire site was developed on one html page using JQuery functions to bring in the desired content.


Student Government Association

As Secretary of Technology for the Executive Board of Student Government Association, I was given the opportunity of developing a new website for SGA. I tried to incorporate more social media into this website. This site was programmed with HTML/CSS, Javascript, and AJAX.
